DePINs use blockchain tokens to boost the deployment & operation of physical infrastructure for real-world services. The devices have a broad range from private weather stations to AI-powered cameras, smartphone sensors, and more! Contributors are incentivized by token-rewards.
Or, to boil it down to a level even your grandma would understand: It’s like when you share gardening tools and lawnmowers with your neighbor. But instead of borrowing tools, you’re sharing WiFi, solar power, geo-data, etc. Tracking & payment is done via that Bitcoin thing!

And since our inception in February 2023 we have managed to grow to more than 140.000 contributors!

This data doesn’t just sit in a database; it’s actively used to inform decisions about real estate, choose quieter venues, and drive community improvements worldwide. The magic happens when this data is sold — profits are shared across the Silencio network, ensuring that those who contribute benefit directly from their contributions.

Noise Pollution leads to the loss of approximately 1 million healthy years of life each year due to a variety of health conditions, including annoyance, sleep disturbance, and ischemic heart disease.
